Debbie – I too have a sign similiar over our kitchen table area – it says “Because Nice Matters” I point to it a lot!!

My word is KINDNESS. I have it as a vinyl cling (actually “Kindness Matters”) above the kitchen sink. It reminds me to do all things with kindness. From interacting with my kids (they point to it to remind me sometimes!), to simple connections in public, when I try to do everything with kindness, life just goes better!

Mine is still HOPE. I hope that things well get better, Hope that my children understand the things have be taught to them to help them to be a husband and father and our daughter to be a good wife and mother. Hope they will teach their children to love and respect other people and their teachings even if it is different from ours.

My word for 2009 is WALK. I’ve not had any exercise for a very long time because of health issues. I just got a treadmill so now I can control what I am walking on, so now I will be able to WALK again. Besides, it’s so fun!

I have to say that my word is “FAITH”!!!

Faith that the economy will only get better, faith that my cancer will not return, faith that people will respect eachother, faith that my daughters are learning the “right” things rather than wrong…the list could go on.

FAITH helps me stay POSITIVE each day!
