Three things related to our word of the month…or three random things we thought of while we were shopping, driving, sleeping…well, you get the idea. The only thing we can guarantee is that Sherra thinks in threes and she insisted we do this on Thursday. She’s bossy like that.
Three great woman authors Leigh Anne loves to curl up in a cozy chair and relax with…
- Elizabeth Berg – Since I first read Talk Before Sleep years ago I have read every book Elizabeth Berg has written. Her books deal with woman and their relationships – love her!
- Jane Austen – I have been a Jane Austen fan since I was in high school and read Pride and Predjudice for the first time. I have lost track of how many times I have read it since. Take me away Jane Austen! My daughters are now Jane Austen fans too.
- Ruth Reichl – One of my favorite genres of books to relax with are “foodie” books and one of my favorite foodie authors is Ruth Reichl. I met Ruth in her first book Tender at the Bone when she wrote about her childhood and how she grew to love food. She then became a food critic and wrote two books documenting her experiences in New York (Garlic & Sapphires) and in California (Comfort Me With Apples) One of the best part of her books is that she includes recipes!
