Meet the owner of Love Lives Here…

I used to be a textile and product designer but am now doing what I love, making and selling my art and prints in a collection called “Love Lives Here.” I feel so lucky!

About seven years ago I started making a home decor line of hand painted products under the name Serious Whimsey which I sold at art and craft shows around Virginia.

Three years ago I rediscovered an old textile portfolio with many beautiful hand made patterns from my former school days. I decided to use them to create the mixed media pieces you see here and am so grateful for the new inspiration. It just makes sense and I love combining some of my past sensibility with making art for kids.

This collection has great meaning for me and I hope it will make you as happy and hopeful as it has made me.
