Leigh Anne says…

It’s a quiet catch-up week where I work on unfinished projects.

Sherra says…

Now that my kids are old enough, I love to send them to the crowded stores for errands and returns while I relax at home.

I love the time to reflect on the family celebration, and think about and write my goals for the coming year.

If I’m not working then we do projects around the house that we spent the year talking about! This year we are painting the door to my daughter’s room and adding a countertop to my scrapbooking area.

It’s a great time to relax, watch those extra movies, play those games, and regroup for the New Year.

Normally, it’s a quiet, restful time. This year with a Senior in HS, I have to use it to do my business tax prep for FAFSA! :( Not very peaceful!! Happy New Year!

Since we are frequently with one of our children and their family for Christmas, we’re often traveling back home during this time. Then we often go to the beach around the 30th with two other couples to celebrate New Years together. This year we’re going to be going to Minneapolis to visit our son for New Years.
