We put the presents around the tree and in the stockings and put the baby Jesus in the manager. Then we put on It's a Wonderful Life and watch it with some hot tea and a warm blanket. It can get crazy sometimes so I don't know if you'd call it peaceful, but it is a lot of fun and brings in the real meaning of Christmas to our home. Of course we sing hymns too. This year several people are recipients of Tiffany's Christmas. In 1990 4 first cousins did a "Tiffany Tree" for the "Festival of the Trees" in the Salt Lake in Salt Lake (to raise money for the hospital). Because of a divorce, two moves, etc. the "Tiffany Tree" has not been put up for years. But this year the tree is up. I love to sit in the living room and ponder life and the true meaning of Christmas while watching the "Tiffany Tree." My cousins made all the ornaments--a true gift of love.
