We have a 100 acre nature preserve that backs up to our property. Now that the snow has arrived in Michigan, I love to be the first one to walk the trails in the mornings. Everything looks so fresh and pretty and it is so peaceful. A great way to start the day!

I love to go to one of our temples. When I was born in 1951 we only had 8, but now we are fast approaching 150. The temple is the closest place to heaven here on earth. We are going to the Seattle Temple this weekend. Thanksgiving weekend we went to the temple in Richland, WA.

I agree with Tamara! I’m lucky to get to volunteer in the Los Angeles Temple and it is a blessing in my life.

The Beach. That’s what I miss about living in California the most. Something about watching the waves roll in. . . such a calming feeling. One of my favorite places to sit, reflect, and write in my journal.

Sitting at my grandmothers desk in the morning with a lit candle, reading and journaling.
My second choice would be the beach on Maui but I don’t get there very often:)

The mountains and/or the temple – maybe they are the same thing (ie. mountain of the Lord)!!

My favorite place is in the temple. We are privileged to work in the St. George temple, and we go there twice a week. It is such a peaceful, wonderful place to be. I love it.
