Question of the Week

What’s the most fun thing you’ve done with a group of friends?

Leigh Anne says…
Retreats with the Beach Babes or shopping with a Deb – it’s a tie.

Sherra says…
Any time I’m laughing with friends, it is a treasure. My 40th birthday beach bash is still on the top of my list.

Totally the Beach Bash!

Running away for a random long weekend – not much planned, eating, shopping, scrapbooking and laughing.

Long weekend scrapbooking with friends and without interruptions, or one on one time with my twin sister. We actually CAN communicate without saying a word. Laughter is always involved no matter which “fun with friends” I’m doing!

We took six/eight weeks and drove to Alaska. It was a most wonderful trip. A trip of a lifetime. One of our group passed away just a short time after we returned home and we were so glad that we had gone. It meant so much to all of us.

Hoping to do a Girls Night Out (GNO) in a few weeks with some friends at a local hotel. They will have a DJ, great food, dancing, and several vendors available. We will have the opportunity to get a massage, pedicure, manicure, do some shopping, and then stay the night. There are several of these type of events going on in my community and they all SELL OUT!

Several dear friends traveled to China in 2007. We laughed, cried, hoped, and dreamt. We love to watch comedies and laugh til we cry.

I have two favorites: The first one was back in 1994 with two friends . We went to Acapulco for a jam packed 4 day excursion. We rode horses on the beach( and I fought with the Mexican guy who insisted on hitting my horse to make him go faster), parasailed ( I almost ended up on the roof of the hotel, and my girlfriend didnt quite make it to the water where they would lift her gliding freely in the air, instead she fell and was dragged on the beach to the water….we laughed so hard we literally wet our pants), then we met a group of men at a restaurant who took us clubbing all night and paid for everything. They were chicken farmers , which in Acapulco translates to BIG BUCKS!!!! So they were business men with lots of cash. Of course the other time was “The Birthday Bash” with Sherra. That was 6 years ago I am due another girl trip for sure.
