You may or may not notice that this week’s Three Things Thursday is actually posting on Friday! Leigh Anne and Sherra were enjoying their freedom so much that we got a little behind – oops!

Three things related to our word of the month…or three random things we thought of while we were shopping, driving, sleeping…well, you get the idea. The only thing we can guarantee is that Sherra thinks in threes and she insisted we do this on Thursday. She’s bossy like that.

Three three things we love most about working from home:

Leigh Anne and Sherra say…

We love being stay-at-home moms and being able to contribute to the family income.
It’s Casual Friday every day – we can wear whatever we want.
Flexible schedule – no traffic, no commute.

My three favorite things about a home office:

1. Being able to spend my lunch hour hiking thru the woods with my dog – a great stress reliever and wonderful thought gathering time.

2. Multi-tasking. I can clean the house, water flowers, walk the dog, etc. while talking with customers on the phone.

3. Flexibility – I set my own work hours/days. I generally don’t work when it’s sunny out.

I, too love that it’s casual Friday everyday! I’m grateful that I can be at home with my kiddos and sneak in a little work while they are playing, watching a movie, or resting.

I love working from home because i have the freedom to what I want at any given time. I don’t have to get all dressed up every day to go to work for a 9 to 5 job. I love the idea of just staying at home with my husband of 41 years. I can scrapbbok at anytime or just set and knitt or just watch my favorite shows with my husband. My friends know they can find me at home most of the time.

During the summer I am in my home almost 24 hours 6 days a week. For I had a heat stroke and it makes me sick to be out in the heat very long at all.

Being home when the kids got home from school. It was always important to me to be there for them.
