SPECIAL NOTE from Sherra: I couldn’t resist posting this in this last hour of January with our word of the month being “FOCUS.”

Oh yes, we have been so focused on planning February that we forgot to hit publish for our “Three Things Thursday” so you may be reading our Thursday post on Saturday or Sunday.

Impressive, I tell you…okay, maybe not so much. What I’m really thinking is that Leigh Anne & I need to go back and read the books on FOCUS that we’re recommending here…

Anyone else have a focus problem? ;)

*****

Three things related to our word of the month…or three random things we thought of while we were shopping, driving, sleeping…well, you get the idea. The only thing we can guarantee is that Sherra thinks in threes and she insisted we do this on Thursday. She’s bossy like that.

Three great books to help you improve your focus

Leigh Anne and Sherra say…

  1. The Power of Focus by Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, and Les Hewitt
  2. Eat That Frog by Brian Tracy
  3. First Things First by Stephen R. Covey

Anymore great books you’ve read that have helped you focus?

One Response to “Focus: Great Reads”

As a child and adolescent, I constantly used books and reading to center myself. If things weren’t going well in my life or school, taking time to read a favorite book put me on a path to being able to focus on what I needed. I know many who read here have home-based businesses. Whenever I need a bit of focus for that, I go back to what I consider a basic: Dr. Tom Barrett’s Dare to Dream, Work to Win. If you haven’t read it, give it a try!
