We went to some friend's house in another neighborhood for trick or treating. FIRST time EVER that my hubby took the kids instead of me!! Woo hoo!! Actually all of the dads walked around with the kids and all of the ladies got to sit around the fire in the front yard with a frosty beverage. Would have been a little better with a warm beverage but it was still fun. Then we had another party to go to on Saturday night!! Wing Ding!! Two fire barrels so no one got cold Saturday night. and to top it all off - I got to go for a bike ride on Sunday! Hooray!! I had a terrific weekend. Are you kidding?? Son #5 was disgusted and sad...until inspiration hit ( praise God it's still in there SOMEWHERE!) and he went as Nacho Libre! ;0) It was a 5 minute fix in Target to find the "gear",and so many people asked him to take pictures with them. By the end of the night, he was a PRO! ;0) It's been unseasonably HOT here in So. I enjoyed a pumpkin protein shake with cool whip on top, but that's it! I felt calm, happy and not a single ounce of remorse all weekend!
