Three things related to our word of the month…or three random things we thought of while we were shopping, driving, sleeping…well, you get the idea. The only thing we can guarantee is that Sherra thinks in threes and she insisted we do this on Thursday. She’s bossy like that.

Three things that connect us to Fall…which just happens to be our favorite season…

Leigh Anne says…

  1. Candy Corn
  2. Cinnamon scented anything; baking, candles, cider
  3. Cooler Mornings

Sherra says…

  1. Candy Corn
  2. Carmel Apples with nuts
  3. Edward’s Orchard in Popular Grove, Illinois – specifically their warm cinnamon sugar homemade doughnuts, apple pie with cheddar cheese and caramel corn nuggets.

FYI – I tried to display self-control by only listing my three favorite food items at Edward’s but their apple cider, honey and BBQ sandwiches almost made the list. ;)

What are some of your favorite things that connect you to Fall? And they don’t have to be food just because most of ours were!

Foil dinners at American Fork Canyon. Riding around the ‘loop’to see the spectacular colors. In my younger years (early 40’s) hiking to the top of MT Timpanogos and marveling at the splendor of the creation! I love fall!

College football.
Smell of burning leaves.
Pumkin Spice Latte at Starbucks!!

Football – high school (Go Rams!), college (Hurray for the Maize and Blue!), and pro (Lions – rah rah?).
Steaming bowls of spicy chili.
Trees changing from shades of green to yellow, orange, and red.

Pumpkins
Cooler weather
Fall colors on the leaves, just gorgeous

Crisp, cool mornings and warm sunny afternoons!
The gorgeous colors of fall leaves changing!
Candy corn for sure!
Pumpkin patches, corn maizes and farmers markets!

Pumpkin anything. I made pumpkin chocolate chip waffles this morning, in fact. They are the best!!

I agree with Cherilyn – cool mornings and warm afternoons. Today is gorgeous that way.

Going up the canyon to see the leaves. I love it!

Bobbing for Apples! yum. Anything spicy–cinnamon spice, that is: candles, pie, cake, cookies! Indian Summer–my favorite time of year. Not too hot, not too cold. Just right!
