Last week we buried one of my "best friends" after a long 18 year battle with cancer. . . . .She taught us not to do guilt, but to make each day the "happiest" we could. In some things we don't have a big choice, but we do in our attitude. . . . . .As we each face more and more challenges, the ability to choose HAPPINESS will be critical for our well being. . . . . .

Don't Worry, Be Happy. . . . . . .

People as my all the time why I'm alway so cheerful. My answer is "I choose to be happy every morning." I really believe that just being able to wake up in the morning is blessing and you need to enjoy each and every day that you are given to the best of your ability.

Well, I've always thought this was so true!! I remember when I was in college and made this discovery for myself, I was feeling blue, missing mommy, moping around and absolutely no one seemed to care a bit. And after a minute I decided that my actions were actually boring to me so I got out of my dorm room and went out in search of a better time and guess what - I found it! Now when I'm feeling blue I either decide to wallow in my tears for a bit and then move on or I just move on. Thankfully I've never had to deal with real depression, at least not much. And I've almost always been able to get happy.
