The “short story” was here. Now a few more details because you are really not nosey, but you are very, very interested…and we truly appreciate that!
We are alike in all the ways that matter most to us – our core values, our life philosophies, our faith and our vision for our business. We are united in our goal of bringing women together to help each other.
The two of us are alike in our realness and in our caring. Our hearts are in the same place. And, if we do say so ourselves … we are both pretty darn smart and a lot of fun to be around.
But we have a few differences.
- Leigh Anne eats vegetables. Sherra doesn’t.
- Leigh Anne is a morning bird. Sherra is a night owl.
- Leigh Anne lives in the Northwest. Sherra lives in the Southeast.
- Leigh Anne is Windows. Sherra is Mac.
- Leigh Anne doesn’t ever watch sports on TV. Sherra does.
Our differences don’t get in the way of working together. In fact, our differences are what make our relationship more fun. Our approaches and personal preferences are uniquely our own. We balance each other.
We know that we are just like every woman;
We are more alike than we are different.
This adventure is still unfolding – but, one thing we do know is that since the two of us started dreaming and planning and working together, we are so excited and having so much fun, it’s spilling into other parts of our lives.
We are sure neither of us would have done this alone.
Not that we don’t have a few tiny worries about working together…
Sherra says…
“Leigh Anne’s energy is endless – she says yes to everything – but she always delivers. She makes me tired.”
Leigh Anne says…
“Sherra is so smart – her mind never turns off – I’m afraid she’ll leave me in the dust.”
What doesn’t worry them is how much they both love the combination of friendship, food, conversation and connection.
Together…
We believe that most women are so busy and pulled in so many directions, they do not make enough time or energy for themselves and sometimes need permission to do so.
We believe women forget they are the most important person in their life – and can use a reminder.
We believe that supporting each other is essential to ALL womens’ success and well-being.
We believe we have the tools and systems that can give women the encouragement and confidence they need to live more fully and be who they were created to be.
We believe we can balance the power of the internet with our personal touch.
And we believe – in fact, we KNOW – that women need a place to connect with other women. All women need to know they are not alone. We want to bridge the feeling of isolation and bring women together.
